To help us respond quicker, stay better organized and continue providing the level of service our members deserve, we’ve added and expanded roles within our team.
Marc Nair – Operations & Administration Coordinator Marc will be taking on this new role and will be the main point of contact for TWPC members, helping with registrations, program questions, private lesson inquiries and other general club matters.
Elias Espinosa – Lead Coach & Coach Development Coordinator Elias’s role will be focused on coaching, curriculum and coach development, helping us maintain and continue improving the quality and consistency of our programs. He will also have an increased focus on player development and private lessons.
We’re excited to announce that Toronto West Pickleball Club is expanding to De La Salle College! This new location gives us the opportunity to bring TWPC programming to midtown Toronto while continuing to offer the structured coaching, development and community experience our members have come to expect.
Know someone who lives closer to the Midtown/Avenue Road area? Please help us spread the word! Share our new De La Salle page with friends, family or fellow pickleball players who may be interested in joining us. Click below to explore the new location, programs and upcoming opportunities.
Last weekend, I had a bit of a pickleball “blind date” when Jeff Chan (never met him before) and I teamed up at the last minute for a tournament supporting melanoma research. Despite never having played together as a team — and being the oldest team in the field — we somehow found our rhythm and battled our way to the final and settled for Silver!
More importantly, the tournament was about much more than pickleball. I’d love for the TWPC community to get behind the cause and help us make a meaninful contribution together. If you’re able to donate, any amount — big or small — will help, and it would be great to see what we can accomplish as a club. Thank you for your support! Donations accepted until Sept. 24.
